The proliant and the beige firewall are now redundant as I have moved from ADSL back to NTL cable, and have moved my website and email to my virtual server (from bitfolk - which I can *highly*
recommend) and as such don't need multiple IP addresses or other funky firewall rules. The benefit is that the electricity bills should go down a bit with that being switched off. Bit of an end of an
era really. popey.com has been served by that box - and a 400MHz PII before that - for a few years now. Time has come to accept that serving a site and hosting email on the end of my DSL connection
isn't robust enough for me. I'll be sad to say goodbye to that box.
