Hello.
I’ve been using Unix in various forms for over twenty years, starting back at Uni with Version 6. Yes that makes me getting on a bit. I’m 43, soon to be 44 
I’m currently using Fedora Core 4 and previously used RedHat.
I have never installed Debian on one of my boxes – unlike the majority of the HantsLUG bunch and I have no inclination to do so. :-P to John Lewis.
I live in the very north of Hampshire almost over the border into Berkshire and I’m currently not working. I’m a C programmer with a reasonable background of Shell scripting and many of the usual tools. I’m an old school user and prefer a CLI to “Click and Pray”.
I’m married to BobDunlop who’s also a member of the LUG.
