I am married to my lovely, Linux supporting wife, Katie.
I ventured into Linux with no help or advice with Fedora 3. I made every mistake you could possibly think of.
I then went to Portsmouth LUG and got help from Mike, a godsend. He put me right on a lot of things and got me online.
Then it was Fedora 4 along with Ubuntu. After which I converted to Suse 9.3, then 10 then 10.1. Now I have converted to Kubuntu 6.06, although I still keep Suse up to date.
I own 2 desktops and an old laptop, Linux is on them all.
I have every reason to be greatful to both Portsmouth, and Hants LUG, as the help and advice I have been given has made my Linux days so much easier.
