I have been on the mailing list now for some years but only recently started coming along to the meets. I started using Redhat 4.3 back in 1997 after buying a boxed set. I stuck with Redhat through 5.x and 6.x then moved to Mandrake until 10.0 then after hearing about Ubuntu I thought I would give it a try and I have’nt looked back. Now the whole family use Ubuntu solely on our 3 workstations and 2 laptops, not a windows install in sight 
I hope to setup LDAP in the near future after hearing neils talk.
