I use Fedora 17 at work (still Ubuntu at home), and I can echo Vic's
words of encouragement. Just as an aside, I currently have the following
kernel installed:
$ rpm -qa | grep kernel
kernel-3.6.1-1.fc17.x86_64
Rather new! :-)
