depends on where you live and what you call local.
I generally go to a small place in Waterlooville called
1st'n 2nd in the Brambles Business Park. I go there
because I can walk there at lunchtime and talk to the guy.
There is also Refresh Computers at Purbrook.
I haven't bought anything there recently but reports
from others have been OK.
FWIW I haven't had any problems with HDDs for a few years now.
(A risky thing to say?)
