Yes, I was afraid it would be expensive to get an adapter, and assumed it was
an obsolete standard. I don't think getting Linux running on my old PS2 is
worth that much money so I'll hang on to the monitor for now. I have seen some
circuit diagrams for a basic adapter to merge the sync signal with the green
one. Not sure how much I trust them though! Good old Sony, I don't think it was
that common even when the PS2 VGA cable was current.
