Hi Jacqui,

No doubt you've already come across this page:

There's a ton of info linked of there, in particular the howto recipes
here [1] that offer loads of advice around flashing and recovering from
bad flashes, etc. I think Ciemon's advice about hooking it up direct to
a box and browsing to the admin interface is good, although I would
unhook any attached devices first and just see if you can get in on
192.168.1.77. If that doesn't sit well on your network you can adjust it
accordingly, and there is advice on the Debian install page around
setting up the IP address for the machine for installation IIRC.

The blinking lights sound a bit suspicious, I seem to recall that
flashing lights were associated with uploading firmware or something,
but it's been a while since I did all this stuff and my memory is
utterly crap these days.

A read around these pages will certainly give you a good appreciation of
what you are dealing with, and there is a forum here [3] plus some Yahoo
groups here [4].
