[Hampshire] Touchscreen monitors

Afternoon all,
I'm sourcing a 17" touchscreen monitor that can work with linux, I see there
are entries in xorg.conf examples so I assume most models work.
However I'm looking for minimal cost if possible, I can either find touch
screen kits on ebay with an extortion price for shipping or very rare to
find. Otherwise I can't find many other stores stocking touchscreens.
Oh and are the touchscreen kits associated with many horror stories?
