FWICR in the UK you can still be hanged for cutting down a tree in
downing street.
IMHO makes sense for modern cars - although we have installed three
towbars in the past few years - on our 'old' cars.
Reviewing some of the newer crumple zones designs I would expect
drilling a hole in a modern car to be as almost as risky as drilling a
hole in a modern alko 'van chassis :-)
Likewise the multiphased lights cluster technology is no longer as
simple as "do I need earth of live here?" - and *much* more expensive
:-)
