I am reliably informed that:

Google.com are hiring. Do you know Linux and other open source
technologies? Are you keen etc etc. If so then have a look at
www.google.com/jobs/

More importantly they are actively trawling people's web sites,
sending speculative emails to people with the right combination of
buzz words on their site.

Apparently there are positions in London, Dublin and Zurich in
Europe. They do offer a relocation package.
