This meeting was held at a new venue due to SeminarRoom1 being unavailable following the fire at Soton Uni.

DeanEarley looked in awe at the sheer amount of monitors in the warehouse before having to leave again.

HugoMills recompiled DamianSkibinski‘s kernel to get his laptop booting. TonyWhitmore and NeilFerguson both tried to get his PCMCIA wireless card working.

AlanPope looked on and shouted words of encouragement as NeilFerguson, RobSmith and HugoMills upgraded and tidied up the new lug.org.uk machine.

BobDunlop found some old ISDN modems that his company used to manufacture, in the warehouse.

JohnLewis tried to re-install Ubuntu for PowerPC onto a nice B&W G3 that Nick had lying around. Nick had failed to get it to boot and my attempt ended with same problem so now have it at home trying to get it to work.

VictorChurchill tried to leapfrog his secondhand ToughBook from Warty to Breezy and wondered why he couldn’t get X started. Despite some last minute assistance from AdrianBridgett, he’s still wondering.
