This was a joint meeting with the members of Surrey LUG – many thanks – especially to Dominic for organising it.

What happened

AdamTrickett gave an updated talk about Perl – introduction the community and “how things are done” and a really useful stack of resources. Basically all the stuff that you need to get started with a language but which most people miss.

There was a Gimp BoF section where John Washington showed everyone his tablet.

There was also a substantial bar quotient and a really good chat was had by all both at lunch and after the meet in the evening.
