Id agree. Silverlight was short lived. HTML5 appears to support mpeg4 movie / m4a audio on fly, but im no expert, but have been using html5 features rather than embedding flash.

They also have no plans to support Android 4.1 and beyond. That is
probably more significant an indication that Flash is going away to be
consigned to history.
