[Hampshire] Video not supported by Ubuntu Server 11.04

Hi Folks.
I have Installed the subject software on a Dell Power Edge the "fell off
the back..."

I have set it up as a RAID 1. However, Grub cant support the older video
card (at least I think thats the issue) and despite trying to get into
grub on boot and change some settings (per some google posts) I haven't
been able to display grub. Also when running in rescue mode using the
"ash" shell. I cannot find grub at all. it is supposed to be in
/etc/default but aint.

Any help would be gratefully received.
