It's starting to look more like a client side problem. If I login
as a different user on my desktop, then I can print fine. As my
main user, KDE seems to have a cached (out of date) view of the
printers and can't print to them.
Presumably there's something in the .kde4 directory or elsewhere
which has some broken config, but so far I've been unable to
find it.
