Hi again,

When we do that we lay two parallel pipes and thread a pull rope down one and back down the other. The rope is then tied in a continuous loop for loss-free pulling :)

We usually use 4" plastic pipe as it's not tight and should make pulling easy.

Thanks for the replies.  I did the cable-in-a-pipe thing once in the 
past, but I wasn't convinced that the result would last, and it involved 
a lot of hassle getting the wires down the pipe.

Maybe I'll reconsider wifi solutions.
