It could be. I wasn't there in the pre-implementation phase for either
company. All I know is that I haven't heard a good word about it in
either place (one which has had it for several years and the other where
it's going in now.) The staff all report that they are spending a
significant proportion of their day "being accountants" rather than
"doing their job."

As I said, it is possible. I would hope not as these are both
multi-thousand bums-on-seats, name-you-know companies. I don't know how
many employees a company has to have before a SAP installation is
viable; I assume that it's not really aimed at small companies. I don't
know what the first company used before but the second is coming over
from Oracle and the staff I've spoken to don't know why (they perceive
Oracle as a product that worked well for them and had minimal impact on
their business practices.)
