Re: [Hampshire] Kit giveaway

Hi,

I've been lurking on this list for a while, and will hopefully be coming
to meetings once my exams are over. Therefore it might be a bit cheeky
of me to ask, but I'm interested in the Thinkpad laptop as something to
put linux on and use as a proper 'desktop' linux machine - as at the
moment all I have is a server at home (without X). I keep reading the
LUG posting and various linux websites and wishing I had a linux machine
with X that I can properly play around with!

The Sony Clie (I keep wanting to type Clio as in the car!) would also be
useful to help me keep track of my life (and to remind me about LUG
meetings!).

I wouldn't be able to pick up from Wokingham as I'm a student with no
car, but I could pick up at a LUG meeting or could send money for postage.
