No, just left it as-installed (I was only seeing whether it worked).
It's a 1.4GHz Pentium M with 1GB RAM. Seems to run very quickly,
certainly faster than the previously installed XP.

Yes, all hardware detected. Video was the most surprising - I thought
it was pretty lame on XP but Compiz really showed what it was capable of.
