Dear Lisa

What windows are you using?

For XP
Have you used the network wizard yet?  If not you need to use this.
Goto control panel
click on Network connections
Create a new connection
    You now go through selecting the requests


If you have done this correctly then in the run command type "cmd" and
return
type "ipconfig /all" in the terminal window
see if you all the ip addresses are there

This is the output I get:

There is the possibility that you have a problem with your network card.
Try replacing the network card and if the problem solves itself. I have had
to do this on occassion in order to get a network to work.
