I have installed this - but it doesn't seem to help. It is this particular
disk that must mount, as it is my husband's Open University Course.

Unfortunately, as it turns out this whole thing may turn out to have been
useless as I may be reduced to Doze <shudder>, either via emulation or via VM
or equivalent or even via Dual booting. The last definitely doesn't appeal.
(Some of the stuff that the booklet says is there is not even visible under
Linux. I suspect that it is part of some of the exe programs on the disk.)

I'm sorry to have taken up anyone else's time on this. I was getting on well
at getting the video, audio and graphic files easily accessible via Linux,
all bar tghis mounting problem; but when I went looking for data on how to
make use of them (which I had expected to be in the written material) I
discovered that it is actually on the disk. As are apparently some
transcripts.

Anyhow, Damian, I am very grateful for your help, and I shall install your
suggested package on both our boxen. Hopefully, it will work well for the
kind of thing that I am likely to want to do. :-)
