Thanks, I hadn't tried that yet actually. However the memtest errors 
indicate there's a problem below 2GB and another above 2GB. And given 
there's two 2GB sticks in then, I interpreted that as a problem with each.
However, if I don't have any joy with this memmap option I might give it 
try.
