Thanks Alan, that is really interesting news!
I'm playing with KDE Connect at the moment, a new(ish) framework that aims to allow seamless Android phone interaction with the desktop. Currently it ties in heavily with QT, so it would be interesting to see it perform in the next generation LXDE.
