You are all warmly invited to the next meeting of the Portsmouth Linux
Users Group. I fact, why not come along while your meetings are in
abeyance? You would always be welcome.

We meet regularly on the third Saturday of the month from 13:00 to
17:30 at Broadoaks Social Club.
http://www.broadoaksocialclub.net/where.html

This is very easy to get to both by road and by rail. A sat-nav does
in fact help, though the warning about post-codes should be heeded.
Find the railway station and you are home and dry. I set the sat-nav
to Airport Service Road midpoint and look for the railway bridge.

The upcoming meeting is on December 21st. Fancy hats at your
discretion. ;-)

We shall have a speaker: Peter Collins will talk on using his
Raspberry Pi as a time-lapse camera and also, hopefully, tell us what
is wrong with WEP and demonstrate how easy it is to crack into a
router. He is currently in Dubai, and cannot guarantee to have time
when he gets back to "pull a router out of a cupboard" and set it up.

Hopefully we shall also have some ailing boxen to which to minister.

I said that I would bring some mince pies if I remember. No
promises, mind!

For newcomers:
There is plenty of parking just opposite the club, and Hilsea railway
station is immediately adjacent.

The door to the club will probably be shut. You will need to ring
the buzzer and ask for the Linux meeting. Go up the stairs and
through the bar to the door at the back left corner of the bar.

I shall aim to be there not later than 12:30, but may be hampered in
this ambition by the existence, or lack of it, of a suitable train..

Do come and add to our $FESTIVAL spirit.
