I run a IT services business based in Hampshire. We are a Windows and
Apple specialist. I have a requirement at a customer where we run the
Windows network to provide some Linux skills to assist with managing
their development environment.
The work looks like it would be ad-hoc, project based work but with the
likelihood of on-going management/support if we can find the right
person/company.
Currently the customer manages the Linux installation in house (they are
a technology sector start up) but are wanting to outsource the work as
it is becoming time consuming and takes them away from their core tasks.
They have around 10 Linux virtual machines.
The rate would be negotiable. It would be a professional service so
standard market rates would be expected, £50/£60 per hour was the rate
for the last person we used.
