I'm too lazy to have bothered to write a script to do this. I have my
ripped music saved as FLAC, and use SoundConverter
<
http://soundconverter.org/> to compress them into more portable formats
as required. It's clever enough to spawn multiple threads and rename
files appropriately, and while it's not as flexible as a script it's
good enough for what I need it to do.
