I work at the University of Southampton and have been a long time linux user and a lurker on this mailinglist for some time.
I am exploring setting up some kind of group/network at the UoS about bringing Hackers & Engineers together to help solve humanitarian problems, in similar spirit to RHOK.org, ewb-uk.org, etc.
