That was one of the things that irritated me about the DE Bill - MPs
either stating they didn't fully understand it or making it evident from
their comments that it was beyond the expertise, and yet they still get
to decide the outcome.
You just have to look at the situation with drugs to see that expert
opinion - that is to say expert opinion solicited by the Government - is
ignored in favour of the political safe bet.
