An Evening of Open Discourse
Thursday 8th April 2010, 17:30 – 20:00

BT Centre, 81 Newgate Street, London, EC1A 7AJ

We'd like to welcome you to an open self organising evening of discourse
around open source, open data and open APIs. We've lined up a world class
panel and we're looking forward to some enthusiastic discussion and lively
debate!

Agenda:

* Doors open at 5.30pm for networking over tea and coffee
* Debate and questions start at 6.15pm
* For those who'd like to continue the discussion we'll be moving to a nearby
pub at around 8pm

The Panel:

* JP Rangaswami - currently Chief Scientist at British Telecom, JP is an
outspoken advocate of open source and using emerging and disruptive
technologies to improve information sharing, education and collaboration.

* Doc Searls - has been covering open source as an editor for Linux Journal
since the mid-'90s, and received the Google-O'Reilly Open Source Award for
"Best Communicator" in 2005. He is also a co-author of The Cluetrain
Manifesto, a business book bestseller, and since 2006 has been a fellow with
the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.

* Karim Lakhani - an assistant professor of business administration at Harvard
Business School. His research and teaching focuses on open and user
innovation. His is one of the foremost academic experts on and author of
several of the most highly cited articles on free and open source software and
