Hi,

A few days ago I asked if anyone was interested in reviewing more books and
posted a list of potential books to this list. Since then I've padded out the
LUG wiki page with some of my reviews and some review guidelines that I
borrowed from the Edinburgh.pm.

and

I've emailed O'Reilly to see if I can get any books from them (no response
yet).

I've emailed Apress again in the past week, and they are happy to send us more
books, as long as they get reviewed.

After my initial posting quite few people have contacted me and before I send
the list off to Apress I'm checking to see if there is any more interest and
that everyone is clear how it works (see the FAQ).

I can't promise that Apress will send us every book we ask for, I suspect the
latest Ubuntu book sells it's self, but we have lost nothing in sending them
a list of books we are prepared to review. I've told Apress I will get a list
to them by Easter, so you have a few days to decide if there is anything
Apress publish that you would like to review.

Remember they probably need reviews for recent books in niche topics,
mainsteam books tend to be popular and popular books don't tend to need the
publicity!
