I guess that's what comes of taking over Maxtor. I have to say I was
somewhat annoyed to find Seagate had done that just as I'd finally given
up on the reliability of Maxtor drives and switched to Seagate!! Time to
take a closer look at WD, Samsung and Hitachi I guess, but each
manufacturer seems to go through a bad patch every now and then. Then,
excepting the case of Fujitsu, then tend to sort themselves out and
recover (well, Fujitsu still do SCSI drives I suppose).
