Alan,
My Hummy is less han a year old but I had issues with the USB connection.
So, I remove the HDD and use humaxrw to get the .TS files.

I can get a pretty clean MPEG2 Stream from the .ts files using projectX
as per Hugo's command line instructions.

The big problem then comes when trying to convert it to a compressed
format (eg MPEG4).
Every method I have tried so far results in one of the two conditions.

1) The Audio is out of sync
2) There is no audio at all.

I hope to be at the BAB meet and any help there would be most welcome.
