Shure do some earplug style isolating earphones as well. They are expensive but
not as expensive as the etymotic ones. I like them and out and about
i find them essential
with so many chavs having mobile phone speakers nowadays. Saves your ears
as well as the volume is lower due to being an earplug.

Have a look on amazon for user reviews that might give you more opinions.
