XP isn't going to come to an end shortly.
I know they announced EOL, but then the OLPC and the EEE came along -
you're not going to shoehorn Vista into a box that size.
Sometime this year, Microsoft will suddenly announce an extension to XP on
the back of "unprecedented demand" or somesuch...
