Ah! looks rather than functionality. In that case a defective
unit would suffice and you could fit the gubbins from a
more modern VT series or even a small TFT and full blown
linux box emulting a VT102?

Even if you found a VT10x the chance of it working for long are
remote - mine were both very well looked after and they both
died of old age a long time ago...
