[Hampshire] Disk wiping software

I have a couple of dozen old hard drives that I would like to wipe. I
will be mounting the drives in an external usb enclosure, and would
like to run some DOD standard wipe program from Suse, rather than
trying to plug the drive into the machine and booting from floppy, etc.

Can anyone recommend something please?
