[Hampshire] AGP Nvidia

Hello all,
I have a chance to finally get rid of my ATI Radeon 9800 tomorrow and switch
to Nvidia, obviously plus points for linux gaming.
I have to source a graphics card for a college's pc to replace their geforce
5x. since the amount of dust in their pc killed their fan and burnt out
their GPU. Anyway my radeon 9800 should pretty much match it.

For myself I'm looking at buying a BFG GeForce 7600 GS 512MB, not a bad
price at just under £100 and I am restricted to AGP with my current pc.
So is this wise and will the AGP port speed be able to take what the GPU can
chuck at it?
