[Hampshire] Naming USB Disk

I use a Western Digital 250Gb USB disk for general backups.

This works well. Its only drawback is that it has a stupid name: My Book

cat /proc/mounts returns /dev/sde1/media/My\4Book

Can someone tell me how to change this to something slightly less
irritating?

System is Ubuntu 6.06
