Has anyone had any experience with the Epson Perfection V350 Photo
USB Scanner under Linux? I have a friend who has one, and has some
problems with getting it to work under a 64-bit SuSE 10.2.

My cursory Googling indicates that the scanner isn't recognised by
Sane without a 32-bit i386 binary blob (and is thus useless for use on
a 64-bit machine). Anyone got any other suggestions?

I can't test things very easily, as the friend and the scanner are
in Germany, and we're only in contact via IRC, but suggestions for
where to start poking are welcome.

Hugo.

PS. My mail's back. :)
