The problem with pine is the license, while it is free (as in beer) it
isn't GPLed, which personally I don't care about but other here do.

I use pine because I know it, I've been using it for 10 years and I'm very
familiar with using it so the key strokes required are second nature to
me.

If I were starting again from scratch and looking for a console based
email client I would probably look at mutt first.

I wasn't planning on using screen shots or even slides really, well maybe
one slide with some basic info on it, beyond that I was planning to do
more live demo type stuff than anything else.

Well it looks like you are in luck, Adrian twisted my arm into doing an
rsync talk but be warned, rsync is a powerful beast, I don't really use a
10th of its features and options, and a 5 minute talk will only cover very
basic usage.

I see Adrian is now doing a cron talk as well, so that should mean you
have no excuses after the meeting :)
