This sounds very much like my problem. I have tried
and tried to configure my new Dell Inspiron to connect
when using Ubuntu. It will connect at the LUG, but not
at home. I'm really seriously beginning to suspect
that Microsoft has put a hex on it! I'm taking my
laptop to the next meeting, going to uninstall
Windows, see what we can do with connection with no
Micorsoft interference.
