I used mutt for about 2.5 years on a previous machine and developed
some wonderful filters and routines for managing lots of mail :
separate folders for work stuff, lug stuff, and various other lists,
all separated by month, etc.; on my latest couple of machines I
haven't even set up a pop3 client, I just use gmail. Kind of
reinforces your argument, I think.
