Might be worth exploring DRDOS (
www.drdos.com;
www.drdos.net)
This used to be called OpenDOS and was free, though it may be chargeable
now. Not sure what the deal is.
There's still no guarantee that old software will work on new machines,
I'm afraid. Hugo's observation about timing loops is right on the money.
I don't know what Framework3 does .. is there a chance that something
that runs on another platform might deliver what he wants?
