I doubt any manufacturer would be happy with
reducing their potential market, but the question
is can they resist the pressure from MS?

And what proportion of the remaining 70% is
running Windows Server? Pretty high, at a guess.
If there's enough resistance from the hardware
manufacturers, then this specification is likely
to be forgotten. That's a big 'if', though - even
Intel haven't been displaying much backbone when
it comes to resisting demands for "content
protection".
