They are not very cheap but they are fairly reliable and work well where wi-fi
doesn't, don't forget to consider ethernet over mains. e.g. Devolo Home Plug
kits, their 85Mbit kit is around £65 retail for a pair, and they have cheaper
15Mbit kit and new 200MBit kit due in the new year. They even support Linux
for the configuration tool...
