[Hampshire] using yum through a firewall/proxy?

Hi,

In my previous job when I was working with Debian servers I used to
configure /etc/apt/apt.conf to allow updates to work via the corporate
proxy servers.

Now I'm using RH/FC (which I have almost no experience of) is there a
way to configure yum to do something similar?
