Seconded - he is a star - however I would hope that he would enjoy
not having to organise things for once.

And it will save me[0] having to try and make two LUg meets rapid
succession :-)
Jacqui
[0] and quite a few other people who "live on the borders".
p.s. There are some "rules and advantages".
I know JimK will correct me if I get any of this wrong :-)
The meet takes place in redhat's training centre and there is a room
full of boxen upon which distros or live cd can be installed and
played with.
I have only managed to go once and took a camera with me - I asked
if it was OK to take photos and this is OK as long as you do not
take pictures of any course literature etc - which should not be
available/visible anyway - common sense really.
Redhat are very generously offering thier place and we are careful not
to overstep our welcome or offend. Note that I did get a few hisses
when I booted my windows laptop from *everyone* - serves me right :-)
Finally it is nice to let the slug list know if you are attending a
short time in advance so that Jon and co can plan ahead.
I will try and be there this time - and will hopefully see many of
you there as well!
